Motovolt Mobility to Add 100 Retail Touchpoints in Three Months

Motovolt Mobility has announced plans to establish 100 new retail touchpoints across India over the next three months, expanding its presence in the electric two-wheeler market.

The expansion will consist of 30 exclusive outlets and 70 multi-brand outlets, focusing on tier 2 and tier 3 cities alongside major urban centers. The move targets what the company identifies as a 5-7 million unit utility electric two-wheeler market for goods and commercial transport.

Motovolt's product lineup includes the M7, MVS7, and Express MV models, which currently serve digital marketplaces and third-party logistics partners. The company stated its expansion aims to reach individual entrepreneurs, small business owners, and delivery partners directly.

The new outlets will function as experience centers and service hubs, providing after-sales support. Motovolt has arranged financing partnerships with financial institutions to facilitate vehicle purchases for small businesses and delivery professionals.

Founded in 2019 by Tushar Choudhary, the Kolkata-headquartered company reports having delivered over 32,000 vehicles. According to company data, these vehicles have collectively traveled more than 65 million kilometers, representing fuel savings of approximately 1.7 million liters and carbon emission reductions of 3.71 million kilograms.

The company's expansion strategy comes as demand grows for electric vehicles in urban logistics and last-mile delivery sectors. Motovolt manufactures electric cycles, e-mopeds, and utility scooters designed for Indian market conditions.
