Motovolt Deploys Over 200 MVS7 Electric Vehicles Through GBG EV Partnership in Delhi NCR

Motovolt Mobility has expanded its partnership with electric vehicle fleet rental operator GBG EV, deploying more than 200 units of its MVS7 electric two-wheelers for last-mile delivery operations across Delhi NCR. The vehicles are equipped with battery-swapping technology supplied by Indofast.

The deployment is aimed at supporting gig economy workers engaged in quick-commerce and hyperlocal delivery services. According to the companies, the MVS7 fleet is currently being used by delivery riders operating on on-demand platforms in the region. The battery-swapping system allows depleted batteries to be exchanged in under a minute through Indofast's network of swapping stations, helping reduce vehicle downtime.

The collaboration comes as demand for electric mobility solutions in the last-mile logistics segment continues to grow, driven by the expansion of e-commerce and quick-commerce services. The companies said the partnership is intended to improve vehicle utilisation while reducing operating costs associated with delivery fleets.

Commenting on the development, Tushar Choudhary, Founder and CEO of Motovolt Mobility, said, "The gig economy is the backbone of India's quick commerce revolution, and our MVS7 is purpose-built to empower these delivery partners as a reliable mobility option."

Motovolt and GBG EV indicated that the deployment could be expanded further as both companies increase their presence in the quick-commerce and hyperlocal delivery segments.
