Motherson Q3 Revenue Rises 14% to ₹31,409 Crore
Company posts its highest-ever quarterly revenue; announces two greenfield plants and acquisition of Nexans AutoElectric's wiring harness business.
Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) reported consolidated revenue of ₹31,409 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, up 14% year-on-year. EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹3,042 crore, and profit after tax came in at ₹1,061 crore. The company said this is the highest quarterly revenue it has recorded.
Leverage and Capital Expenditure
The net leverage ratio stood at 1.1x at the end of the quarter. The company said it is making efforts to bring leverage down further despite continued investment for growth and elevated working capital. Capex during the quarter was ₹1,594 crore, representing 52% of EBITDA, and was directed toward greenfield projects under construction and maintenance.
The company announced two new greenfield facilities — one in Morocco for wiring harness production and another in Pune for vision systems. Both are in emerging or growth markets and are part of the company's strategy to expand manufacturing capacity across geographies.
Nexans AutoElectric Acquisition
The company is acquiring the wiring harness business of Nexans AutoElectric, which it said will provide a platform for serving passenger vehicle and commercial vehicle customers globally from additional locations. The transaction is among several recently announced M&A deals that the company expects to close in the first half of FY27.
The company said organic growth is expected to accelerate through a ramp-up of its consumer electronics and aerospace businesses. Multiple partnerships have also been announced across business units to support future growth. The company operates from over 425 facilities across 47 countries.
