Montra Electric launched its SUPER CARGO electric three-wheeler in Delhi on June 20, 2025, targeting the last-mile cargo delivery segment with a vehicle offering 170 km real-life range and 15-minute charging capability. The Murugappa Group subsidiary priced the vehicle at INR 4.37 lakh ex-showroom Delhi post-subsidy and signed memorandums of understanding for 200-plus vehicle deliveries during the launch event.
The SUPER CARGO addresses market demand for electric commercial vehicles in Delhi's expanding logistics sector. Managing Director Jalaj Gupta of TI Clean Mobility Private Limited conducted the launch alongside Business Head Roy Kurian and CEO Saju Nair, positioning the vehicle as a solution for fleet operators and individual entrepreneurs in the cargo delivery space.
Technical specifications include a 13.8 kWh lithium-ion battery delivering 170 km real-world range from a certified 200-plus km capacity. The drivetrain generates 70 Nm torque and 11 kW peak power with 23 percent gradeability capability. The vehicle supports a 1.2-tonne gross vehicle weight on a Boron Steel chassis with a 6.2-feet load tray.
Safety features encompass front disc brakes, hill-hold function, reverse assist, and seat belt provisions. The vehicle incorporates regenerative braking and multiple drive modes for operational efficiency. The company offers an industry-standard five-year or 1.75 lakh kilometer battery warranty.
Three cargo configurations are available: 170 cubic feet, 140 cubic feet, and tray deck variants. Two models feature 15-minute full charging through partnership with Exponent Energy. Color options include Chilli Red, Steel Grey, Indian Blue, and Stallion Brown.

The vehicle is available for booking across 90 cities through exclusive showrooms. Montra Electric operates as the clean mobility division of the 124-year-old Murugappa Group, which reported revenues of INR 778 billion. The company's portfolio includes the RHINO 55-ton electric truck, EVIATOR commercial vehicle, SUPER AUTO passenger three-wheeler, and E-27 electric tractor.
The company positions the vehicle to capitalize on Delhi's economic growth and increasing demand for electric commercial vehicles in urban logistics operations.
