MoEVing Partners with Tata Motors Dealers to Deploy 700 Electric Vehicles for Last-Mile Deliveries

MoEVing has entered a partnership with three authorized dealers of Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles—Pascos, Johar Automobiles, and Bhandari Automotive—to lease 700 electric small commercial vehicles for last-mile delivery operations. The fleet will consist of Tata Ace EV and Ace Pro EV models deployed across cities including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Kolkata.

The vehicles will serve more than 20 enterprise clients in the e-commerce, logistics, and FMCG sectors. The partnership is expected to result in 25 million kilometers of electric deliveries each year, with projected carbon emission reductions of approximately 2,000 tonnes annually. This initiative aligns with India's Net Zero 2070 target.

The collaboration introduces a business structure where Tata Motors dealers will own and maintain the electric vehicle fleet, while MoEVing will handle operations. This approach is designed to streamline fleet management and enable expansion of electric mobility solutions across the country.

Vikash Mishra, Founder and CEO of MoEVing, stated that the company aims to accelerate zero-emission mobility adoption in India's logistics sector. He noted that the operational lease model is intended to provide cost-effective deployment of electric vehicles while simplifying fleet ownership and maintenance processes.

Pinaki Haldar, Vice President and Business Head of SCVPU at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, emphasized the company's commitment to India's transition to electric mobility.

He highlighted that the Ace EV and Ace Pro EV models are designed for performance and reliability in operational conditions, with various load deck configurations to meet different business requirements. Tata Motors operates over 200 EV support centers across India to provide maintenance services.

MoEVing currently operates a fleet of more than 2,500 electric vehicles, including over 500 electric four-wheel cargo vehicles, which the company describes as the largest such fleet in India. The company serves more than 75 clients across sectors including FMCG, e-commerce, grocery, furniture, and third-party logistics.

Founded in 2021, MoEVing focuses on electric mobility solutions for logistics operations. The company has stated plans to double its four-wheel electric vehicle fleet by March 2026. MoEVing is also developing intercity electric vehicle operations and uses data-driven fleet management systems as part of its service offerings.
