Technology solutions provider Mobisoft Infotech has announced the nationwide expansion of its educational transportation software platform following pilot implementations across schools in several Indian cities.
The platform addresses safety and accountability challenges in student transportation through real-time tracking, digital verification systems, and automated communication protocols. Schools utilizing the system during pilot phases reported operational improvements, including a 35 percent reduction in unscheduled delays and a 50 percent decrease in emergency response times.
The solution employs multiple technologies to monitor student commutes. Real-time GPS tracking provides vehicle location data and estimated arrival times to stakeholders. Digital verification systems using RFID, QR codes, or NFC technology record boarding and alighting events. Geo-fenced zones enable continuous monitoring of vehicle locations, while integrated SOS alert systems connect drivers, students, school administrators, and parents during emergencies.
Additional safety features include in-vehicle CCTV camera integration, telematics monitoring, and driver behavior tracking that flags speeding and harsh driving incidents. The platform automates parent communications through mobile applications, SMS, and WhatsApp messaging for arrivals, delays, and route modifications.
