Mobec Energy Storage Solutions Approved by Major Indian Automakers
Mobec Innovation's mobile energy storage systems receive approval through Oil Lube Systems partnership, supporting India's largest passenger vehicle maker and third-largest two-wheeler manufacturer in replacing traditional diesel generators.
Mobec Innovation has secured approval for its energy storage solutions through a partnership with Oil Lube Systems, marking a significant development in India's electric vehicle infrastructure landscape. The collaboration will serve major automotive manufacturers including the country's largest passenger vehicle producer and third-largest two-wheeler manufacturer.
The partnership focuses on replacing conventional diesel generators with mobile energy storage systems, addressing both emissions reduction and power reliability concerns for original equipment manufacturers, fleet operators, and service networks. Oil Lube Systems currently partners with prominent automotive brands including Maruti Suzuki and NEXA.
India's electric vehicle sector has experienced substantial growth, with over 4.5 million EVs on roads by mid-2025. This expansion has been supported by government initiatives, environmental awareness, and changing consumer preferences. The country aims to achieve 30% EV adoption by 2030.
"This strategic way forward underscores the industry's belief in our commitment to scalable, distributed, and user-first energy innovations," said Harry Bajaj, Founder and CEO of Mobec Innovation. "We are committed to bridging the industry requirements through continuous R&D and innovations."
Mobec's mobile and modular energy solutions are designed to address charging accessibility challenges in India's EV market. The systems provide alternatives to fixed charging infrastructure, reducing upfront investment requirements while operating on clean energy sources. The technology supports various sectors including logistics networks and service providers.
Earlier this year, Mobec's Service on Wheels platform gained recognition at the Bharat Mobility Expo, validating market demand for its energy storage solutions.
Based in Noida, Mobec Innovation provides mobile EV charging solutions ranging from 5-60 kW capacity, catering to two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and commercial fleets. The company also operates battery recycling and refurbishment services, recovering materials for circular economy applications, alongside energy storage systems for industrial and residential use.
