M&M sees 16% overall growth in Sept 2024 with 87,839 vehicle sales

In the Utility Vehicles (UV) segment, the company recorded domestic sales of 51,062 vehicles, reflecting a 24% growth compared to the previous year.

M&M sees 16% overall growth in Sept 2024 with 87,839 vehicle sales

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.) has announced its overall auto sales figures for September 2024, reporting a total of 87,839 vehicles sold, including exports.

In the Utility Vehicles (UV) segment, the company recorded domestic sales of 51,062 vehicles, reflecting a 24% growth compared to the previous year. Overall sales in the UV segment, including exports, amounted to 52,590 vehicles. The domestic sales for Commercial Vehicles stood at 23,706 units.

Veejay Nakra, President of the Automotive Division at M&M Ltd., commented on the company's performance: "We sold 51,062 SUVs in September, marking a 24% growth, and a total of 87,839 vehicles, representing a 16% increase overall. This month, we also introduced the all-new VEERO in the LCV<3.5-ton segment, which is based on India's first multi-energy modular CV platform. With a focus on fuel efficiency, performance, safety features, and an enhanced cabin experience, the VEERO has been well received in the market."

As the festive season approaches, Mahindra is set to open bookings for its new model, the Thar RoXX, starting from 3rd October.
