MINI India Introduces Limited-Run Convertible Stardust Edition at Rs 62.90 Lakh
Imported model features custom grey paint, Union Jack soft top, and a 204 hp turbo petrol powertrain.
MINI India has launched the MINI Convertible Stardust Edition, bringing a limited-run variant of its open-top vehicle to the domestic market. Imported as a completely built-up unit (CBU), the model is available for online booking through MINI India's official portal.
Design and Exterior Highlights
The MINI Convertible Stardust Edition is priced at Rs 62.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes exclusively in a 'Sparkling Copper Grey' metallic finish with 'Vibrant Silver' mirror caps and 18-inch JCW Rallye Spoke alloy wheels. A black electrically folding "MINI Yours" soft top features a woven Union Jack graphic. The roof operates electrically, opening in 18 seconds and closing in 15 seconds at speeds up to 30 km/h, and offers a 40 cm sunroof mode. Luggage capacity measures 160 litres with the roof down, expanding to 215 litres when closed.
Engine, Performance and Specifications
The vehicle is powered by a 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo petrol engine producing 204 hp (150 kW) at 5,000 to 6,500 rpm and 300 Nm of torque between 1,450 and 4,500 rpm. Paired with a 7-speed double-clutch Steptronic Sport transmission, the convertible accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, with a top speed of 240 km/h.
Interior and Cabin Features
Inside, the cabin features a circular high-resolution OLED display running MINI Operating System 9, sports seats upholstered in recycled synthetic leather (Vescin), a head-up display, and a Harman Kardon surround sound system.
