Michelin Opens Tyre and Service Store in Ludhiana
The facility spans 1,500 square feet and is operated in partnership with Preet Automobiles.
Michelin launched a Michelin Tyre & Service Store in Ludhiana in partnership with Preet Automobiles. The facility is located on Link Road, Gill Chowk, and was inaugurated by Prashant Sharma, National Sales Director at Michelin India.
The store spans 1,500 square feet and offers Michelin's range of products along with mobility services including wheel alignment, wheel balancing, and two-wheeler tyre and alloy services. Preet Automobiles has operated in Ludhiana for over four decades.
Shantanu Deshpande, Managing Director of Michelin India, said, "North India has been a crucial market for Michelin's growth strategy and Ludhiana presents a strong opportunity for us with its growing base of premium and luxury automotive enthusiasts. The launch of this new Michelin Tyre & Services Store reinforces our commitment to expanding our retail network and improving customer access to Michelin's premium products and services, catering to the growing demand. Through our partnership with Preet Automobile, we aim to deliver a truly premium and reliable experience for our consumers."
The expansion is part of Michelin's strategy to expand its retail network in Northern India. The company indicated the launch aligns with plans to introduce its Made-in-India passenger car tyre range.
Michelin is a manufacturer of tyres and polymer composites. The company, headquartered in Clermont-Ferrand, France, operates in 175 countries and employs 129,800 people.
