MIC Electronics Limited, India's leading manufacturer of electronic systems for Railways and a reliable manufacturer of LED displays and LED lighting products, has received official approval from the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO), under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, for its Microprocessor Controller for Roof-Mounted AC Package Units used in LHB and Double-Decker Coaches.

This certification, (RDSO/104/1407/00060378), was given only after the prototype successfully passed all the RDSO's extremely tough testing and specification requirements. This marks a fresh registration approval for MIC Electronics, enabling the company to supply its microprocessor controllers directly to the Indian Railways.

Commenting on the huge milestone, CEO Rakshit Mathur said, "We're incredibly proud that our microprocessor controller has earned the RDSO's stamp of approval. We designed and built this right here in India, and it meets every single one of their specs while supporting energy efficiency, smart controls, and modern IoT-enabled operations. This achievement proves our commitment to the 'Make in India' vision and cements our position as a trusted partner to the Indian Railways."

The approved controller is ready for commercial supply and offers advanced operational efficiency, intelligent control, adherence to RDSO specifications, and enhanced safety mechanisms in railway coach AC systems. This approval adds another strong product to MIC Electronics' list of RDSO-certified equipment and showcases its important role in helping to modernise India's massive railway network.

MIC Electronics Limited, based in Hyderabad, is a long-standing leader in LED displays, lighting, and electronic control systems.
