MG Windsor Maintains Market Leadership with Record Monthly Sales

JSW MG Motor India reported another milestone for its MG Windsor electric vehicle, with the model achieving its highest monthly sales figure of 4,511 units in August 2025. The performance extends the Windsor's position as India's best-selling electric vehicle for 11 consecutive months.
The company noted that August marked record achievements across multiple metrics, including wholesale numbers, retail sales, and customer deliveries. Since its market introduction, the MG Windsor has accumulated over 41,000 unit sales.
The electric crossover utility vehicle (CUV) has maintained its leadership in India's four-wheeler electric vehicle segment since launch. Industry recognition includes more than 30 awards, notably the Green Car Award 2025 from iCOTY (Indian Car of the Year).
MG Motor positions the Windsor as India's first intelligent CUV, featuring what the company describes as "AeroGlide" design language that blends sedan spaciousness with SUV versatility. The vehicle offers 100 kW (136 PS) power output and 200 Nm torque through its electric drivetrain.
Interior features include "Aero Lounge" seats with 135-degree recline capability and a 15.6-inch touchscreen display system. The model is available under a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) pricing structure starting at ₹9.99 lakh plus ₹3.9 per kilometer.
The sustained sales performance reflects growing consumer adoption of electric vehicles in India's automotive market, with the MG Windsor serving as a key indicator of segment trends and preferences.
