MG Windsor EV launched at Rs 13,49,800, features a 332 km ARAI range
JSW MG Motor India announces the launch of the MG Windsor, featuring a range of segment-first features, a lifetime battery warranty, with bookings starting October 3, 2024.
JSW MG Motor India has announced the pricing for the recently launched MG Windsor, starting at Rs 13,49,800 (Ex-Showroom). The MG Windsor, promoted as India's first Intelligent Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV), combines features of both a sedan and an SUV.
This model features a range of industry and segment-first attributes, including a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner, a certified range of 332 km on a single charge, and one year of free charging at public chargers through the eHUB by MG app. Additionally, customers will receive an assured 60% buyback after three years or 45,000 kilometers. Bookings for the MG Windsor will begin on October 3, 2024.
The CUV features an aerodynamic design, spacious interiors, safety measures, smart connectivity, driving comfort, and various high-tech features. The Windsor will be available in four color options: Starburst Black, Pearl White, Clay Beige, and Turquoise Green.
The Ex-Showroom prices for the MG Windsor variants are as follows: the Excite variant is priced at Rs 13,49,800, the Exclusive variant at Rs14,49,800, and the Essence variant at Rs 15,49,800.
Satinder Singh Bajwa, Chief Commercial Officer of JSW MG Motor India, stated that the MG Windsor aims to facilitate the transition to an electric vehicle lifestyle through its packaging and pricing, which could encourage more potential customers to adopt electric vehicles.
The Windsor features an AeroGlide design that moves beyond traditional segmentation. The interiors include spacious Aero Lounge seats that can recline to 135 degrees and an expansive Infinity View Glass Roof, contributing to a premium experience. Entertainment and connectivity are supported by a 15.6-inch GRANDVIEW Touch Display in the central console.
The MG Windsor is equipped with a 38 kWh Li-ion battery pack, which is IP67 certified and delivers 100 kW (136 ps) of power and 200 Nm of torque through four driving modes: Eco+, Eco, Normal, and Sport, resulting in a 332 km certified range on a single charge.
