MG Select unveils the M9 luxury limousine
The MG M9, a seven-seater limousine under MG Select, combines advanced features, premium craftsmanship, and modern technology. It is set to debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
MG Motor India has announced the name of its upcoming luxury limousine, the MG M9, which will be the second product under its new luxury brand channel, MG Select. This announcement was made on January 8, 2025, in Gurugram.
MG Select is a recently launched platform aimed at catering to modern consumers seeking premium automotive experiences. The MG M9 will premiere at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, alongside another vehicle debuting in January 2025 under this brand.
According to the company, the MG M9 is a limousine designed to emphasize comfort and in-cabin appeal. Its interior features include reclining ottoman seats in the second row with integrated touchscreens on the handrails. The exterior design incorporates trapezoidal front grilles. The limousine accommodates seven passengers across three rows and offers advanced amenities such as an 8-mode massage system for the ottoman seats and a 3-zone climate control system, which can be adjusted through the touchscreens.
Gaurav Gupta, Chief Growth Officer at JSW MG Motor India, stated that the MG M9 combines personalized interiors, meticulous craftsmanship, and modern technology to deliver a sophisticated travel experience. He described it as a step toward making luxury mobility more widely available.
MG Select plans to open exclusive experience centers in 12 cities during its initial phase. This initiative blends innovation and sustainability with curated experiences, drawing from the legacy of Morris Garages.
The product lineup under MG Select includes premium SUVs and sedans that reflect both British heritage and contemporary design. These vehicles are equipped with advanced features such as state-of-the-art infotainment systems, driver assistance technologies, and sustainable performance capabilities.
Additionally, MG Select integrates sustainability into its offerings by promoting hybrid and electric vehicle technologies, aligning with the growing demand for eco-friendly luxury mobility solutions in India.
MG Motor India, MG Motor India, a unit of Chinese government-owned SAIC Motor, made its entry into the Indian market in October 2019. The brand, known for its British heritage and innovative approach to vehicle design, has quickly established a presence in the competitive Indian automotive industry.
