JSW MG Motor India announced on October 9, 2026, that the MG Hector Tomahawk is the Official Car of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2026-27, following the company’s title sponsorship of the season, to be showcased across 13 ISL stadiums and tied to match and tournament awards.
The announcement follows the partnership between the ISL and JSW MG Motor India, under which the company is title sponsor for 2026-27. The tournament will be rebranded as the MG Indian Super League.
The Hector Tomahawk will be displayed at 13 ISL stadiums during the season. Dedicated interaction zones will be set up on matchdays for fans.
The standout performer of every match will receive the ‘MG Hector Tomahawk Most Electrifying Player’ award. The Player of the Tournament will be awarded an MG Hector Tomahawk at the end of the season.
The awards will be featured through on-field presentations, match broadcasts, commentary integrations and co-branded digital content across ISL and participating club platforms.

The 2026-27 ISL season begins on October 10. Bengaluru FC will host Sporting Club Delhi at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru, and FC Goa will play Chennaiyin FC at the Fatorda Stadium in Goa.
MG has previously partnered with football clubs Liverpool FC and Arsenal. In India, it supports the Patan Girls Football Team from Gujarat.
The ISL is India’s top-tier professional football league. It has 13 clubs: Bengaluru FC, Chennaiyin FC, Churchill Brothers FC, East Bengal FC, FC Goa, Inter Kashi FC, Kerala Blasters FC, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, Mumbai City FC, NorthEast United FC, Odisha FC, Punjab FC and Sporting Club Delhi. The league follows a club-led commercial model, with clubs holding commercial rights and administrative control.
JSW MG Motor India is a joint venture between JSW Group and SAIC Motor. The company has sold over 1,50,000 electric vehicles since its first launch, and the MG Windsor is the country’s top-selling EV.
