MG Hector Now E20 Fuel Compliant
JSW MG Motor India introduces ethanol-blend compatible version in line with government mandate.
JSW MG Motor India announced that its Hector SUV model is now certified for E20 fuel compatibility, making it compliant with the Indian government's mandate requiring all gasoline-fueled vehicles manufactured after April 1, 2025, to run on 20% ethanol-blended fuel.
The E20 material compatible Hector will be available in 1.5 L Petrol MT and CVT variants. All petrol variants of the Hector produced after March 31, 2025, will meet this standard, following the MG Astor which became E20 compliant last year.

We aim to provide vehicles that not only satisfy customer expectations but also play a vital role in fostering a more greener automotive future," said Rakesh Sen, Director Sales, JSW MG Motor India.
The Hector, introduced in 2019 as India's first Internet SUV, features a dual pane panoramic sunroof, a 35.56 cm (14-inch) HD infotainment system, more than 70 connected car features, and advanced safety offerings including ADAS features.

The MG Hector, priced from INR 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom), was launched in 2019 as India’s first Internet SUV, pioneering connected car technology with more than 70 smart features. Known for its spacious cabin, advanced safety systems, and ADAS capabilities, the Hector remains one of MG’s flagship models.
