MG Comet EV 2025 Launched with Updated Features and New Variants
JSW MG Motor India has introduced the MG Comet EV 2025 with upgraded features, including a rear parking camera, power-folding ORVMs, and premium seating. The electric vehicle starts at ₹4.99 lakh, with a Battery-as-a-Service option.
JSW MG Motor India has introduced the MG Comet EV 2025 with updated features across its variant lineup. The electric vehicle is priced from ₹4.99 lakh, with the option of Battery-as-a-Service at ₹2.5 per kilometer. Bookings for both the new Comet EV 2025 and the recently launched Comet BLACKSTORM edition are open for ₹11,000 at MG dealerships.
The Comet EV 2025 is available in five variants: Executive, Excite, Excite Fast Charge, Exclusive, and Exclusive Fast Charge. The Excite and Excite Fast Charge variants now feature a rear parking camera and power-folding outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), enhancing convenience and safety.
The Exclusive and Exclusive Fast Charge variants receive premium leatherette seats and a four-speaker audio system for an improved in-cabin experience. The Fast Charging variants are equipped with a 17.4 kWh battery pack, offering a range of up to 230 km (IDC).
In February 2025, MG Motor introduced the Comet BLACKSTORM edition, expanding the model range. Priced at ₹7.80 lakh with Battery-as-a-Service available at ₹2.5 per kilometer, this variant features a ‘Starry Black’ exterior with dark chrome elements, black badges, and red accents.
The interior is equipped with leatherette seats featuring ‘Blackstorm’ embroidery, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, electronically adjustable ORVMs, and a four-speaker audio system.
The Comet EV 2025 is covered under the MG e-Shield program, which includes a 3-year or 1 lakh km vehicle warranty, 3 years of roadside assistance, and three free labor services for scheduled maintenance. The battery pack is covered under an 8-year or 1.2 lakh km warranty.
