MG and Vertelo sign MoU for 3000 EVs

MG has inked an MoU with Vertelo, a Macquarie-managed integrated fleet electrification platform, funded by Green Climate Fund. This partnership includes the delivery of 3,000 MG electric vehicles to Vertelo in a phased manner.

Sandeep Gambhir, Chief Executive Officer, Vertelo noted that the partnership marks the "This partnership with MG Motor India to purchase around 3,000 electric cars, marks the beginning of a journey for both organisations with a common goal of accelerating fleet electrification and achieving Net-zero emissions.”
MG India has been instrumental in establishing a robust EV charging infrastructure with its ecosystem partners – Exicom Telesystems, ElectreeFi, EchargerBays, Ionage, Statiq, Epsilon & Highway Delite and deployed 7.4kW chargers, averaging one installation per day, covering approximately 50 major cities, as per the press release.
