Mercedes-Benz Launches EQS Maybach 'Night Series' at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025

Mercedes-Benz India introduced the EQS Maybach SUV 680 'Night Series' at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, with prices starting at Rs. 2.63 Cr. The company simultaneously unveiled a new variant of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 Night Series, priced at Rs. 3.71 Cr. (both prices ex-showroom).

At their pavilion, themed 'Arena of Desire: Driving Desire, Technology Pioneers & Sustainability Drivers,' Mercedes-Benz presented the Concept CLA, built on the new Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA) platform. This concept vehicle represents the company's progress toward their 'Ambition 2039' vision and introduces a new electric segment featuring next-generation drive systems.

The exhibition included several significant models: the AMG SL 55, AMG S 63 E PERFORMANCE, and Long Wheelbase E 450 4MATIC AMG Line. The G 580 with EQ Technology demonstrated a technical achievement with its '720 degrees G-TURN', a first for any vehicle globally.

The EQS Maybach 680 SUV Night Series emphasizes refined craftsmanship and technological integration, according to the company. The vehicle has been developed with attention to exclusivity and performance, reflecting Mercedes-Benz's evolving approach to luxury electric vehicles, it added.

This launch strengthens Mercedes-Benz's position in India's luxury electric vehicle segment, responding to increasing market demand.

Mercedes Benz has been one of the leaders of India’s luxury car market along with fellow German brand BMW. The automaker's strong position stems from its comprehensive product portfolio, ranging from entry-level luxury cars like the A-Class to ultra-luxury offerings like the Maybach series. Mercedes-Benz has also been proactive in introducing electric vehicles to the Indian market, with models like the EQS and EQB, responding to growing demand for luxury EVs.

Local assembly at its Pune facility has helped Mercedes-Benz offer competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. The company has also developed a strong dealer network across major Indian cities, supported by dedicated service centers.
