Mercedes-Benz India Reports Sales of 15,190 Units for January-September 2026
Mercedes-Benz registers six percent growth in third quarter volumes as demand for top-end models and electric vehicles drives retail dispatches.
Mercedes-Benz India reported retail sales of 15,190 units during the January to September 2026 period, marking an 8% year-on-year growth compared to 14,132 units sold in the corresponding nine months of 2025.
The performance represents the company's highest nine-month sales volume on record in the domestic market.
For the third quarter ended September 30, 2026, the automaker retailed 5,422 vehicles, delivering a 6% increase over 5,119 units sold in Q3CY2025 and a 17% sequential growth compared to Q2CY2026. Volume gains during the July to September period were aided by early festive season purchasing and consumer finance campaigns.

Santosh Iyer, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, said, "While upcoming new product like the GLC BEV has already created high anticipation in the market, deliveries of the much-awaited electrified S-Class will begin this month."
Mercedes-Benz India Sales by Segment: Core, Top-End and Entry Luxury
Segment-wise data showed that the Core Luxury portfolio, comprising the C-Class, Long Wheelbase E-Class, GLC, and GLE, remained the primary sales driver, contributing approximately 60% of total volume during the nine-month period. The Top-End Luxury segment, which includes the S-Class, Mercedes-Maybach, G-Class, V-Class, and AMG variants, accounted for over 25% of total sales, recording a 13% year-on-year growth. The Entry Luxury category, led by the GLA and CLA BEV, expanded 4% year-on-year to constitute 15% of the overall sales mix.
