Mercedes-Benz India has introduced the Night Edition versions of the GLE and GLS luxury SUVs in the country, expanding its portfolio of limited-series offerings. The models are part of a global limited-run programme and will be available in restricted volumes in India.

The GLE and GLS Night Editions feature blacked-out exterior styling elements and are offered in two colour options — Alpine Grey and Obsidian Black. Alpine Grey is exclusive to the Night Edition range and is not available on the standard versions of the SUVs.

Inside, both SUVs receive black Nappa leather upholstery and Anthracite open-pore oak wood trim, along with a Head-Up Display as standard equipment. The GLE Night Edition also adds AIRMATIC suspension as an additional feature over the standard model.

“The introduction of the ‘Night Edition’ with bespoke design, curated interiors, exclusive appointments and a sharper focus on personalisation, makes the SUVs highly exclusive,” said Santosh Iyer, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.

Mercedes-Benz said India is among its top global markets for GLE and GLS SUV sales, with both models contributing significantly to the company’s luxury SUV volumes in the country. The GLS continues to be the brand’s highest-selling model in the top-end luxury SUV segment, while the GLE remains a strong performer in the core luxury SUV category.

The Night Edition GLS 450 is priced at INR 1.41 crore (ex-showroom), while the GLS 450d is priced at INR 1.43 crore. The GLE 300d Night Edition is priced at INR 1.05 crore and the GLE 450 Night Edition at INR 1.14 crore (all prices ex-showroom, India).
