The GLB comes available in two trims, the Progressive Line, and the more-sportier-looking AMG guise. The Progressive Line gets a dual-slat grille, a faux silver skid plate, chrome embellishments on the exterior and 18-inch alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the AMG Line gets a sharper-looking bumper, single-slat AMG grille and 19-inch AMG-badged twin five-spoke alloy wheels.

The car comes with a 66.5kWh battery pack that offers a WLTP-certified range of 423km and Mercedes claims that the EQB can be charged from 10 percent to 100 percent in 6 hours and 25 minutes using an 11kW AC charger. Mercedes will offer an 8-year warranty on the battery pack as well.

Mercedes-Benz has set up 30 Ultra-Fast Chargers across the country and there will be 10 more by end-2022. With this, the company will offer more than 140 charging points across the country. Mercedes-Benz India customers will receive a complimentary AC wallbox with the EQB and can also avail complimentary charging for the first year of car ownership.

are excited to wrap up 2022 with the key introduction of two versatile 7-seater SUVs the GLB & EQB. Both these SUVs are highly versatile, spacious and ideal for large nuclear families requiring extra space and a pair of seats, for the pre-teens or even pets.

“For the first time, we are offering three powertrains, a petrol, diesel, and an electric for our customers. The launch of the EQB is also a significant step towards our vision of transitioning to a climate-neutral fleet gradually, with four luxury EVs in Mercedes-Benz India portfolio," Schwenk added.
