Fairfax Group-backed Maxop Engineering Company Private Limited reached a financial milestone in FY26, crossing the Rs 1,000-crore topline threshold, driven by robust international demand for lightweight aluminium components.
According to financial filings sourced through Tracxn, for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, consolidated revenue from operations grew 17% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 1,006.98 crore, up from Rs 861.45 crore in FY25. Consolidated net profit after tax (PAT) rose 32% YoY to Rs 91.30 crore.
The core standalone entity mirrored this growth trajectory, registering a 16% YoY increase in revenue from operations to Rs 1,001.43 crore and a 28% gain in standalone PAT to Rs 84.07 crore. A pivotal factor in crossing the thousand-crore mark was international market penetration: manufactured exports rose to Rs 502.62 crore (with total foreign exchange inflows reaching Rs 502.96 crore), surpassing gross domestic turnover of Rs 495.70 crore.
Maxop operates under a focused ownership structure. Fairfax is its majority shareholder through its investment vehicle, FIH Mauritius Investments Ltd, holding approximately 67% of the equity, while promoter and Managing Director Shailesh Arora holds the remaining 33%. The executive leadership team, comprising Managing Director Shailesh Arora, Director Sumit Maheshwari and Chief Financial Officer Rajneesh Jain, oversees operations across manufacturing facilities in Manesar, Gurgaon, and Jaipur.
Maxop manufactures high-pressure die-cast (HPDC) aluminium components, tooling and dies. Vehicle structural parts accounted for 79.74% of standalone turnover, followed by electrical motor parts at 11.79%.
Faith Automation acquisition
To expand beyond component manufacturing into full-system integration, Maxop signed an investment agreement on March 17, 2026, to acquire a 65% controlling equity stake in Faith Automation Systems & Tooling Private Limited.
Faith Automation designs, fabricates and commissions customised robotic body-shop assembly lines and automated tooling systems for automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier-1 suppliers. By integrating automated body-shop assembly expertise with high-pressure die-casting (HPDC) component manufacturing, Maxop aims to expand its offering from component supply to turnkey automation and structural solutions.
