Matter group begins deliveries of AERA, India’s first geared electric bike
MATTER inaugurates its first Experience Hub in Ahmedabad, offering customers a blend of digital and physical retail spaces, while commencing deliveries of the Aera electric motorbike with a certified range of 170 km per charge.
Matter has commenced the delivery of the Aera, India's first geared electric motorbike, at the opening of its Experience Hub in Ahmedabad. The Experience Hub is designed to combine technology, design, and customer engagement in a 'phygital' environment, providing a unique and interactive experience for visitors. The Aera offers a certified range of 170 km on a single charge.
Matter Group inaugurated its first Experience Hub, marking a significant step for the company in the electric vehicle sector. Shri Govindbhai Dholakia, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, attended the event alongside Matter's founders and team. Located in Navrangapura, the Hub is intended to enhance the two-wheeler purchasing experience by integrating both physical and digital elements. The space allows visitors to explore products, technology, and customer services in a seamless manner.
The design of the Hub focuses on providing a smooth user experience with a blend of technology-focused installations and lifestyle-oriented elements. The interiors feature a mix of natural materials and advanced digital interfaces, creating a modern and functional environment. The Master Aera Display, showcasing India’s first geared electric motorbike, is the main highlight, while other areas like the Tech Display and Interactive Feature Zones provide detailed insights into the bike's capabilities.
One of the key features of the Hub is its dual purchasing option, where customers can choose between an assisted sales interaction or a self-guided experience. This approach caters to a variety of customer preferences, offering flexibility in exploring and purchasing the Aera motorbike.
Mohal Lalbhai, Founder and CEO of Matter Group, commented on the launch, expressing the significance of the Experience Hub in Ahmedabad and the start of Aera deliveries. He noted that this development aligns with Matter's focus on enhancing electric mobility and improving the customer experience.
The Matter Aera is designed with a 4-speed Hyper-shift gear system, offering a performance of 0 to 60 kmph in 5.4 seconds and a cost of 25 paise per kilometer. The motorbike includes a liquid-cooled battery and powertrain for thermal management, improving overall performance and lifespan. Additional features include a 5-amp onboard charging system, internet-enabled connected experiences with navigation, music, and call functions, and a 7-inch touchscreen.
