Maserati India will launch the updated Grecale SUV, GranTurismo coupe and GranCabrio convertible on October 30. The three models arrive in India a little over four months after their global debuts, bringing revised styling, additional features and changes to their powertrains.
The track-focused Maserati GT2 Stradale will also be showcased alongside the updated models.
Key Highlights
- Grecale: The Modena variant replaces its 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with a 3.0-litre Nettuno V6.
- GranTurismo and GranCabrio: The Trofeo variants receive a 40hp power increase to 590hp.
- Personalisation: New exterior colours, wheel designs and revised detailing expand the options available through Maserati’s Fuoriserie programme.
Updated Maserati Grecale: Exterior and Powertrain
The facelifted Grecale gets a revised front bumper and grille, with a shark-nose design inspired by the Maserati MCPura supercar. The bumper also incorporates air curtains. Other additions include the Grigio Lamiera Shiny exterior finish from the Fuoriserie personalisation programme and new alloy wheel designs.
The Grecale range will continue to comprise three variants: standard, Modena and Trofeo. The entry-level version retains a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 300hp.
The Modena, however, switches from the four-cylinder engine to Maserati’s 3.0-litre Nettuno V6, producing 390hp. The range-topping Trofeo continues with the V6 in a higher state of tune, delivering 530hp.
Updated Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio
The GranTurismo coupe and GranCabrio convertible receive revised front-end detailing, including reshaped air intakes and a central splitter. Maserati claims these changes help increase downforce.
At the rear, the tail-lamps now feature clear lenses. Buyers will also be able to choose from seven new Fuoriserie paint finishes: Green Jupiter Matte, Blu Denim, Bronzo Lucido, Bronzo Matte, Grigio Mistero, Rosso Velluto and Oro Lirico. Additional colour choices will be available for the badges and exhaust tips.
Both models retain the 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 engine. In the Modena variants, it produces 490hp, while the Trofeo versions develop 590hp, up 40hp from before. The increase comes from higher turbo boost pressure and minor engine revisions.
Both cars also receive a recalibrated eight-speed automatic gearbox intended to deliver quicker responses.
