Maruti Suzuki transports 25% of vehicles through railways

The automaker plans to transport more vehicles through rail mode in the future while using solar energy and biogas at its factories to reduce the carbon footprint.

In a bid to reduce the carbon footprint, Maruti Suzuki is transporting more vehicles from its plants through the railway. The automaker transported around 25 percent of its vehicles through the railway in the last financial year.
