Maruti Suzuki Introduces AMT Option Across Swift, Dzire, and Baleno S-CNG Lineups

Maruti Suzuki Introduces AMT Option Across Swift, Dzire, and Baleno S-CNG Lineups

Maruti Suzuki India has introduced automated manual transmission (AMT) variants across its Swift, Dzire, and Baleno S-CNG models, with prices starting from Rs 7,92,400 (ex-showroom).

The introduction pairs the company's five-speed Auto Gear Shift (AGS) AMT transmission with factory-fitted dual-fuel powertrains on the three cars. The Swift S-CNG AMT is priced at Rs 7,92,400, while the Baleno S-CNG AMT is priced at Rs 8,32,400 and the Dzire S-CNG AMT is priced at Rs 8,53,100.

The models are powered by the 1.2 litre, three-cylinder Z12E engine. In petrol mode, the engine produces 61 kW (82.93 PS) at 5,700 rpm and 112.4 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. In CNG mode, peak output is rated at 51.3 kW (69.75 PS) at 5,700 rpm and 101.8 Nm of torque at 2,900 rpm. Fuel storage across all three vehicles includes a 37-litre petrol tank and a 55-litre water-capacity CNG cylinder.
