Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Crosses 3 Lakh Sales Mark in 32 Months

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has surpassed the 3 lakh sales mark for the Grand Vitara in just 32 months, reinforcing its position in the mid-size SUV segment. The achievement highlights the vehicle’s appeal, particularly with its Strong Hybrid and Suzuki ALLGRIP SELECT 4x4 powertrain options.

Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales at MSIL, acknowledged the milestone. “We thank our 3 lakh strong Grand Vitara family for their trust in Maruti Suzuki. The Grand Vitara has been a catalyst in strengthening Maruti Suzuki’s position in the mid-SUV market, and achieving this monumental milestone in such a short period of time is a new benchmark for the industry.”

To mark the occasion, MSIL has launched the ‘Driven by Tech’ campaign, aimed at showcasing the SUV’s versatility. “Celebrating the success of the Grand Vitara, we are proud to introduce a new campaign ‘Driven by Tech’. The campaign vividly communicates our flagship SUV’s versatility, and its myriad capabilities which allow it to appeal to diverse personalities while seamlessly complementing the evolving aspirations of customers,” Banerjee added.

The campaign features a fast-paced film highlighting two individuals—one relying on Strong Hybrid technology and the other using ALLGRIP SELECT 4x4—navigating different terrains. The visual narrative underscores the Grand Vitara’s adaptability across urban and off-road settings.

As part of the 2025 update, MSIL has expanded the availability of the panoramic sunroof in select variants. Customers can now opt for the feature in Zeta (O), Alpha (O), Zeta+ (O), and Alpha+ (O) trims. The Grand Vitara also includes advanced features such as R17 precision-cut alloy wheels, ventilated seats, an 8-way powered driver seat, a 9-inch Smart Play Pro+ infotainment system, Suzuki Connect, and a wireless charging dock.

Safety remains a key focus, with standard features across all variants including six airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, 3-point ELR seat belts, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Hill Hold Assist, ABS with EBD, and front and rear disc brakes.
