Maruti Suzuki Expands After-Sales Network to 6,000 Service Touchpoints

The manufacturer establishes the milestone workshop in Kerala with infrastructure for EV charging as it plans to add five hundred more locations in the current fiscal year.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has inaugurated its 6,000th after-sales service facility in Kozhikode, Kerala, expanding its localized maintenance footprint across more than 3,000 cities and towns nationwide. The milestone center was established in collaboration with regional dealer partner KVR Autocars Private Limited.

The new service facility covers an area of 1,820 square meters. The workshop architecture is configured with two standard service bays and three dedicated body repair bays, alongside integrated electric vehicle service and charging facilities to accommodate incoming alternative powertrain models. According to corporate tracking data, the company added its last 1,000 service outlets over a two-year period, following a prior expansion that brought the total to 5,000 locations in 2024.

Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, stated that the company targets the activation of approximately 500 additional service touchpoints across the country during the 2026-27 fiscal year.
