Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with MapmyIndia Mappls to integrate Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line) information into the Mappls App. The integration will provide commuters with access to metro stations, routes, fares and train frequencies, along with end-to-end journey planning.
The companies said the integration will make official Mumbai Metro information available to more than 45 million Mappls App users. The service is intended to help commuters plan journeys across the Aqua Line network and access relevant travel information through a single platform.
What Mumbai Metro Line 3 Information Will Be Available on the Mappls App?
The partnership brings together MMRCL's metro data and MapmyIndia's mapping and location technology. The information to be made available includes geotagged station locations, station facilities such as car and two-wheeler parking, metro line colours, interchange information, train frequencies, fare prices, and the number of stations and lines.

R. Ramana, Director (Planning & Real Estate/NFBR) at MMRCL, said the integration is intended to make metro information more accessible and help commuters plan journeys using details available within the Mappls App.
Rohan Verma, Joint Managing Director of MapmyIndia Mappls, said the integration would begin with Mumbai Metro Line 3, allowing users to access metro information and plan journeys through the app.
The agreement expands the range of public transport information available through Mappls, with the Aqua Line serving as the starting point for the integration.
