Mahindra XUV400 gets up to Rs 3 lakh discount this month
Mahindra Thar, Scorpio Classic get up to Rs 1 lakh in discounts and benefits.
Mahindra is offering attractive year-end benefits on some of its popular SUVs, such as the Thar RWD, Scorpio N and Scorpio Classic, amounting up to Rs 1 lakh, depending on the variant. The company’s sole electric offering, the XUV400, is also available with discounts of up to Rs 3 lakh. Let’s take a closer look at the benefits you can avail of on a Mahindra SUV this month.
Mahindra Thar RWD
Save up to Rs 1 lakh
The Thar RWD is listed with benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh for the petrol-automatic variants and up to Rs 50,000 for the diesel-manual variants. The benefits include cash discounts as well as Rs 25,000 worth of accessories. This is, however, a fair reduction in discounts from what the company was offering a month ago during the festive season. Also, currently, there are no benefits on the 4WD variants of the Thar.
The Thar is available in multiple powertrain choices: a 118hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine in RWD guise that is mated to a manual gearbox; a 152hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 132hp, 2.2-litre diesel, both of which have manual and automatic gearbox options and 4x4 tech. The prices for the Thar range between Rs 11.35 lakh and 17.60 lakh.
Mahindra Scorpio Classic, Scorpio N
Save up to Rs 1 lakh
The older-gen Scorpio Classic, which continues to be in good demand, gets up to Rs 1 lakh off on the base-spec S trim, while the higher-spec S11 trim gets Rs 50,000 off. This includes Rs 20,000 worth of free accessories. The Classic comes with a 132hp, 2.2-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox only. Prices range between Rs 13.62 lakh and Rs 17.42 lakh.
Meanwhile, new Scorpio N gets benefits of up to Rs 50,000 on the mid-spec Z4 and Z6 variants, while the top-spec Z8L gets Rs 40,000 off. However, there are no offers for the Z2, Z8S and Z8 variants. The Scorpio N has two engine options: a 203hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 175hp, 2.2-litre diesel. Both can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox, and 4x4 is available as an option on the diesel. The Scorpio N is priced between Rs 13.85 and Rs 24.54 lakh.
Mahindra XUV400
Save up to Rs 3 lakh
Mahindra’s only all-electric model for now, the XUV400, gets massive discounts this month. However, it’s only the top-spec EL Pro, with the larger 39.4kWh battery (456km MIDC range) and faster 7.2kW charger, that gets Rs 3 lakh in total benefits and discounts. The XUV400 EL Pro is also available with a 34.5kWh battery. Mahindra’s EV directly rivals the Tata Nexon EV and is currently priced between Rs 16.74 lakh and 17.49 lakh.
