Mahindra Rolls Out Festive Benefits on Commercial Vehicles

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd on Sunday announced festive season benefits on its range of commercial vehicles, combining the recent Goods and Services Tax (GST) reduction with additional festive savings for customers.

The company said the total benefits add up to ₹1.84 lakh, depending on the model, making its commercial vehicle portfolio — including Bolero Pik-Up, Maxx Pik-Up, Jeeto, Supro and others — more affordable for buyers during the festive period.

Mahindra added that the move is aimed at strengthening customer value and driving demand in the commercial vehicle segment.

The festive season holds special significance for automobile sales in India, as cultural and religious traditions encourage people to make big-ticket purchases during occasions considered auspicious, such as Navratri, Dussehra, and Diwali. Consumers also benefit from annual bonuses and incentives around this time, which boosts disposable income and makes it easier to invest in vehicles. For rural markets, the period aligns with the harvest season, when farm incomes rise, further supporting demand for commercial vehicles, tractors, and two-wheelers.

For automakers, the season provides an opportunity to drive higher sales volumes by offering discounts, new launches, and attractive financing schemes. The combination of positive consumer sentiment, higher purchasing power, and industry-led incentives means that a significant share of annual automobile sales is concentrated between September and November, making it one of the most crucial periods for the sector.
