Mahindra Opens New Truck and Bus Dealership in Hubli, Karnataka
The 3S facility, operated by Indhu India Motors Pvt Ltd, features seven service bays and expands Mahindra's growing commercial vehicle network across southern India.
Mahindra's Truck and Bus (MTB) Business inaugurated a new state-of-the-art 3S dealership in Hubli, Karnataka on March 10, 2026. The facility, managed by M/s Indhu India Motors Pvt Ltd, is equipped with seven service bays capable of servicing more than seven vehicles per day. Additional amenities include driver lodging, 24-hour breakdown assistance, and AdBlue availability.
The inauguration adds to a network that now includes over 200 3S dealerships and more than 400 secondary service touchpoints across India, combining the reach of Mahindra Trucks and Buses with that of SML. The company currently holds approximately 7% market share in the overall trucks and buses segment and a 24% share in the intermediate and light commercial vehicle (I&LCV) bus category.
Vinod Sahay, President of Trucks, Buses & Construction Equipment and Member of the Group Executive Board, noted that the company is targeting a market share of 10–12% by FY2031 and over 20% by FY2036.
MTB's truck range — comprising the BLAZO X, FURIO, OPTIMO, and JAYO models — is backed by double service guarantees: a 48-hour road restoration commitment with a Rs. 1,000 per day penalty for delays, and a 36-hour workshop turnaround guarantee with Rs. 3,000 per day compensation if unmet. The company also offers its iMAXX telematics platform, which provides fleet owners with location tracking, vehicle health monitoring, and driver performance analytics.
Manufacturing for MTB's medium and heavy commercial vehicles is conducted at the company's greenfield facility in Chakan, Pune, while light commercial vehicle trucks and buses are produced at the Zaheerabad plant in Telangana. The Chakan facility spans over 700 acres and represents an investment of more than Rs. 4,000 crore.
The Hubli opening is part of MTB's broader effort to strengthen its after-sales infrastructure in Karnataka and across India, which also includes over 2,000 spare parts retailers, 200 mobile service vans, and a 24x7 multilingual technical helpline.
