Mahindra Logistics Reports 23 Percent YoY Growth in Q1FY27
The company maintains profitability improvements for a fourth consecutive quarter amid volume gains across its logistics and transport units.
Mahindra Logistics Limited has announced a 23 percent year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue for Q1FY27, reaching ₹2,003 crore. The third-party logistics provider posted a consolidated profit after tax of ₹25.4 crore for the quarter, compared to a net loss of ₹10.8 crore during the same period last fiscal year and a profit of ₹20.2 crore in the preceding fourth quarter. Consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rose 51 percent year-on-year to ₹115 crore.
Operationally, the contract logistics segment grew 26 percent year-on-year, accompanied by a 31 percent increase in its EBITDA. The express cargo operations experienced a 58 percent revenue increase year-on-year, said to be driven by a combination of higher container volumes and improved pricing yields. In corporate mobility, revenue increased by 38 percent year-on-year, while its corresponding segment earnings grew by 8 per cent.
On the other hand, its last-mile delivery business saw a revenue contraction of 16 percent year-on-year. Management stated the decline followed a deliberate portfolio recalibration to drop unprofitable accounts amid ongoing retail pricing pressures, which allowed the division's segment earnings to improve to ₹2.6 crore against a loss of ₹0.5 crore in the first quarter of the previous fiscal year.
