Mahindra Introduces Level 2 ADAS in Scorpio-N, Launches Z8T Variant Priced at ₹20.29 Lakh

Mahindra & Mahindra has introduced Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in the Scorpio-N, along with the launch of a new Z8T variant aimed at expanding the Z8 trim range. The Z8T is priced from ₹20.29 lakh (ex-showroom) and is positioned between the existing Z8 and Z8L trims.

The ADAS features are now offered in the Z8L variant and include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, smart pilot assist, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, and high beam assist. Additional features exclusive to Mahindra’s ICE SUVs include Speed Limit Assist—which alerts drivers about road-specific speed limits and can adjust cruise speed with a single-button input—and Front Vehicle Start Alert, which notifies the driver via visual, audio, and haptic feedback when the vehicle ahead starts moving.

The Z8T variant adds several premium features such as 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a Sony 12-speaker audio system, front parking sensors, a front camera, a 6-way powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, an electronic parking brake, and an auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror. This new trim offers a mix of features aimed at buyers seeking a balance between value and equipment.

The Scorpio-N continues to hold a 5-star GNCAP safety rating and marks three years in the market with over 2.5 lakh units sold.

Mahindra, founded in 1945, operates across over 100 countries with businesses in automotive, farm equipment, IT, finance, logistics, and more, employing over 2.6 lakh people globally.
