Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition Sells Out 999 Units in 135 Seconds
Mahindra’s limited-edition BE 6 Batman SUV sells out 999 units in 135 seconds, marking a record launch and highlighting strong demand for themed electric vehicles in India.
Mahindra & Mahindra announced the swift sell-out of the limited-run BE 6 Batman Edition, with all 999 units booked within 135 seconds of sales opening at 11:00 AM. The model was unveiled the previous day, coinciding with India’s 79th Independence Day celebrations.
Initially planned as a 300-unit special edition, rising customer interest prompted Mahindra to increase production to 999 units. Despite the expanded allocation, demand exceeded supply, with all available vehicles reserved within two minutes of the booking launch.
The BE 6 Batman Edition marks a licensing collaboration between Mahindra and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP). The vehicle features design elements inspired by the Batman theme, positioning it as a collector’s model within Mahindra’s electric SUV lineup.
This launch is part of Mahindra’s broader strategy to expand its presence in the electric vehicle market in India. The BE 6 series emphasizes indigenous design and technology, aligning with the company’s stated goals of innovation and sustainable mobility.
No further units of the Batman Edition are expected to be produced, as the model remains a limited-time offering. Pricing and detailed specifications were released ahead of the sale, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025.
