Magenta Mobility and Switch Mobility collaborate to transform electric last-mile and mid-mile delivery in India

Magenta Mobility, an integrated electric mobility solutions provider, and Switch Mobility, the electric vehicle arm of the Hinduja Group, have forged a strategic partnership to revolutionise last-mile and mid-mile intra-city operations across India. Underlining this alliance is a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the procurement of 500 units of the recently launched SWITCH IeV4 (Intelligent EV) over two years, marking a significant milestone in the electric Light Commercial Vehicle (eLCV) segment.

The partnership aims to leverage Switch Mobility's expertise in commercial electric vehicles to enhance Magenta Mobility's logistics operations nationwide. By integrating Switch Mobility's advanced electric vehicle technology with Magenta Mobility's extensive service portfolio of Logistics, Charging, and Technology, the collaboration is poised to establish new benchmarks in the EV logistics and transportation sector.

The SWITCH IeV4, equipped with a 32.2 kWh battery and a 1700 kg payload capacity, promises efficient operations with a 120 km range. Its robust motor and advanced connectivity features align with Magenta Mobility's growth plans, including the ambitious 'Ab Ki Baar Dus Hazaar' program aimed at deploying 10,000 electric vehicles by September 2025.
