LED lighting accounted for 63 percent of total revenues in the first half of the fiscal year, with conventional lighting representing the remaining 37 percent. Passenger vehicles formed the largest segment share at 63 percent of revenue, followed by two- and three-wheelers at 31 percent, and commercial vehicles and other applications at 6 percent.
Deepak Jain, Chairman of Lumax Industries, said, "We have delivered a strong first half of FY27, with Q2 revenues growing by 33% year-on-year, outpacing broader industry trends. This performance was driven by new programme launches and ramp-ups, sustained growth with our leading OEM customers and a rapid scale-up with smaller customers. However, geopolitical challenges including supply chain disruptions and volatility in input costs, have led to lower-than-expected operating margins. We continue to work with our customers on cost recovery, while staying focused on cost discipline and operational efficiency."
