Lumax Auto Technologies Shifts Accessory Operations to New Uttarakhand Site

Lumax Auto Technologies Ltd. is relocating its automotive accessories business to a new facility within Pant Nagar in Uttarakhand’s Udham Singh Nagar district, according to a regulatory filing.

People familiar with the matter said the company plans to set up new assembly lines for door visors and body molding components at the site. 

The move comes as Lumax seeks more production space and aims to meet rising demand from its customers. The accessory operations, previously housed at one of Lumax’s existing plants, will now be shifted to a dedicated facility operated by a subsidiary.

Through its various subsidiaries, Lumax Auto Technologies manufactures a wide array of components, including Advance Plastics, 2/3-wheeler Lighting, Chassis, Gear Shifter, Shift Towers,

Emission Systems, Seat Frames, Oxygen Sensors, On-board antennas Electric devices & components, Wiring Harness, Vehicle Interior Components & CNG delivery systems.

The company operates 30 manufacturing plants across major automotive hubs in India, serving clients such as Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj Auto, Maruti Suzuki, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter , Tata Motors, Daimler India, and Volkswagen.
