Lumax Auto Technologies Reports 37% Revenue Growth in Q2 FY26

Lumax Auto Technologies Limited has announced its financial results for the second quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025, reporting significant growth across key performance metrics.

The automotive component manufacturer recorded consolidated revenue of ₹1,156 crore in Q2 FY26, marking a 37% year-on-year increase from ₹842 crore in the corresponding period last year. For the first half of FY26, revenue stood at ₹2,183 crore, maintaining the same 37% growth trajectory compared to H1 FY25.

EBITDA for the quarter reached ₹170 crore with margins improving to 14.7%, up from 14.0% in Q2 FY25. The company's profit after tax before minority interest grew 50% year-on-year to ₹78 crore in Q2, with earnings per share rising to ₹9.81 from ₹6.29 in the previous year.

The revenue growth was driven by sustained demand from original equipment manufacturers, new program launches, and strong performance in the passenger vehicle and aftermarket segments. On a standalone basis, the OEM business grew 12% in H1 FY26, while the aftermarket segment registered 15% growth.

Anmol Jain, Managing Director of Lumax Auto Technologies, attributed the performance to the company's strategic priorities and diversified business model. "The improvement in profitability underscores our focus on operational excellence and disciplined cost management," Jain stated, adding that the company remains on track to achieve its medium-term 20:20:20:20 vision.

The company's subsidiaries, excluding the newly acquired Greenfuel, grew 36% year-on-year, with IAC India and Mechatronics entities leading growth. Including Greenfuel, subsidiary growth reached 56% in H1 FY26.

In a significant development, Lumax inaugurated its SHIFT Tech Center in Bengaluru in October 2025, focusing on electronics and digital engineering capabilities including in-cabin experience, ADAS, connectivity, and embedded systems.

During the quarter, the company secured new launches with major clients including Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Honda Cars, and TVS for various products including shifters, switches, sensors, and plastic components.

Passenger vehicles accounted for 55% of H1 FY26 revenue, while two and three-wheelers contributed 24%, aftermarket 10%, and commercial vehicles 9%. In product categories, advanced plastics led with 52% of revenue, followed by structures and control systems at 18%.

The company's subsidiaries also received industry recognition, with Lumax Mannoh winning the CNBC TV18 SME Champions Award and Lumax Cornaglia receiving the Sustainability Excellence Award at the Tata Motors Conference in September 2025.
