Lumax Auto Technologies Limited has appointed Ms. Pooja Minocha as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), designating her as Senior Management Personnel of the company with effect from March 5, 2026. The move signals a formal restructuring of the company's senior human resources leadership.
The appointment was approved by the company's Board of Directors through a Circular Resolution, following a recommendation by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. The disclosure was filed with BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India on the same date, in compliance with Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The regulatory filing was signed by Pankaj Mahendru, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer.
Consequent to Minocha's appointment, Mr. Suresh Kumar Dwivedi, who held the position of Assistant Vice President – IR & Admin and was previously nominated as Senior Management Personnel, will no longer carry that designation with effect from March 5, 2026. Dwivedi will, however, continue in his functional role as Assistant Vice President – IR & Admin, meaning the change is one of classification rather than employment status.
Minocha holds a commerce degree and a Master's in Business Administration (HR) from the Institute of Technology & Management (ITM), Mumbai. She brings over 22 years of international experience in the human resources function, with expertise spanning HR strategy, organisational development, executive compensation, and talent development.
According to the disclosure, her combination of business acumen and leadership capabilities has enabled her to operate across complex and challenging organisational environments, translating strategic vision into measurable goals that improve organisational effectiveness.
Prior to joining Lumax Auto Technologies, she served as CHRO and Vice President at Bata India, one of the country's prominent footwear and lifestyle brands. Before that, she held the position of Global Director at several well-known organisations, including MSD India (the local arm of American pharmaceutical firm Merck), Advanz Pharma, and Bharti AXA Life Insurance. Her cross-industry background, spanning pharmaceuticals, insurance, and consumer goods, reflects a breadth of HR experience that extends well beyond any single sector.
The regulatory disclosure confirms that Minocha has no familial or personal relationship with any director of the company, satisfying standard independence requirements under SEBI norms. Her appointment is on a full-time employment basis with no fixed end term specified, indicating a long-term role within the organisation's leadership structure.
The appointment comes as human resources leadership has grown increasingly central to corporate strategy across Indian industry, particularly in the manufacturing and auto components sectors, where talent retention, workforce transformation, and organisational agility have become priorities. By bringing in a CHRO with a designated Senior Management Personnel title, Lumax appears to be formalising HR's seat at the executive table.
