Log9 rebrands mobility business with launch of full stack EV management company Amphion
The company aims to address critical challenges faced by the commercial EV industry, including financing, data analytics, charging infrastructure, and energy efficiency.
Log9, one of India’s well-known developers of advanced battery cell technology and EV Mobility Ecosystem products has rebranded of its mobility business. It will now be known as Amphion, a full-stack EV asset management company. The unveiling of Amphion by Log9 at their Day Zero 2024 event marks a significant transformation in the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem.
With this comprehensive EV asset management, the company aims to address critical challenges faced by the commercial EV industry, including financing, data analytics, charging infrastructure, and energy efficiency.
The event was graced by Narayana Murthy, ex CEO and Co-Founder of Infosys, and Sonam Wangchuk, Education Reformist and Climate Activist.
While Murthy emphasised the importance of building sustainable companies on pillars of culture and innovation, Wangchuk highlighted the indigenisation of technology and applying first principles for problem-solving.
Both guests commended Log9's efforts, with Wangchuk applauding the performance of Log9 batteries used in Ladakh.
Dr. Akshay Singhal, Founder & CEO of Log9, expressed his excitement about the transformative opportunities Amphion will offer fleet operators, emphasizing a data-driven approach to address reliability, servicing, financing, charging infrastructure, business insight, and energy efficiency.
The launch of Nexmile
A battery pack specifically designed for commercial EVs, was also announced. Nexmile boasts features such as 2X Longer Battery Life, 3X Faster Charging, 120 Kms real-world range and 5 Year factory Warranty.
Kartik Hajela, Co-Founder & COO of Log9, highlighted Amphion's role in integrating various stakeholders into a cohesive ecosystem, driving efficiency and sustainability in the EV industry. He aims for Amphion to be a global leader in EV Asset Management.
Pankaj Sharma, Co-Founder of Log9, emphasized Log9's commitment to sustainable mobility and its efforts in pioneering advancements in technology and forging partnerships.
Way forward
With the launch of Amphion and Nexmile, Log9 aims to offer cleaner, greener futures for fleet operators and drivers, and contribute significantly to combating climate change. Currently, Log9 is successfully running around 2,500 EV assets on road, connecting 600 charging stations, managing assets worth 100 crores for 150+ fleets, with fast turnaround time of 2.7 days on servicing needs, and growing at 20-30% month-on-month, the company stated.
