Log 9 inks pact with 3EcoSystems for Rapdix batteries and EV charging

Battery-to-cell manufacturer Log9 materials has inked a tie-up to deploy its 2000 RapidX batteries on 3EcoSystems Shakti 8 Cargo 3 wheeler EVs across Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad to be deployed for last mile deliveries of e-commerce players such as Amazon, Flipkart, Big Basket.

Log9 and 3ecoSystems will in the long run aim also accelerate the setting up of fast-charging infrastructure across the cities of operations. 

Sharing the development, Peter Voelker, MD, 3eco Systems said that the most important aspect for a fleet logistics operator is to "understand the bottlenecks, operating challenges, and other efficiency issues with real-time tracking of deliveries to ensure faster turnaround of business operations".

"Log9 Rapdix batteries give us fast charging in 35 minutes basis which Jeco can operate 1.5 shifts for our 150 km  range vehicles as it  boosts the vehicles’ revenue-generating potential", added Karan Kadaba, Director, 3eco Systems.

3ecoSystems has plans to expand to 8 more Tier-1 and 2 cities over the next 12 months.
