LML secures CMVR certification for LML star electric scooter

The LML Star, featuring a 203 km range, swappable battery, and advanced safety features, is set to enter the Indian market as a locally manufactured, performance-focused electric mobility solution.

LML, an established Indian brand, has announced that its upcoming electric scooter, the LML Star, has received the CMVR (Central Motor Vehicles Rules) certification. This certification confirms the scooter's compliance with stringent quality and safety standards, aligning with the brand's focus on sustainable mobility solutions.  

The LML Star offers a range of 203 kilometers per charge, one of the highest in India, and delivers a peak power output of 5.87 kW. It has a top speed of 90 km/h, making it a practical choice for consumers seeking eco-friendly alternatives to conventional two-wheelers.  

Commenting on the development, Yogesh Bhatia, Managing Director and CEO of LML, stated, "Receiving the CMVR Certificate for the LML Star highlights our adherence to industry standards in technology and safety. The scooter’s features, design, and performance reflect our efforts to redefine electric mobility in India.”  

The LML Star features a modern design with a dual-tone body, 14-inch wheels, and a digital display. It includes a swappable battery and a wireless charger to meet the needs of technology-oriented riders. For enhanced safety, the scooter is equipped with features like a tire pressure monitoring system, hill hold assist, reverse mode, and ABS.
