LG Electronics India is entering the Vehicle Solutions segment with a focus on in-vehicle infotainment and telematics. The initiative will bring the parent company's global automotive B2B business to the Indian market.
Products under this business vertical will be manufactured and supplied from LG Electronics India's third plant at Sri City in Andhra Pradesh. The company has also outlined plans to use the facility for compressor manufacturing, with operations expected to commence in Q3 FY27.
The entry into automotive solutions represents an expansion beyond the company's existing consumer electronics, home appliances and entertainment businesses.

The company attributed its improved profitability to revenue growth and operating leverage, which offset higher commodity prices, rupee depreciation and investments in go-to-market activities ahead of the festive season.
LG Electronics India has retained its FY27 targets of mid-teen revenue growth and an early double-digit EBITDA margin.
