Leadership Transition at Olectra Greentech as K.V. Pradeep Steps Down from CMD Role
Olectra Greentech Limited informed the BSE and NSE that Chairman and Managing Director K.V. Pradeep has stepped down from his roles on June 9, 2025.
Olectra Greentech Limited has officially announced that K.V. Pradeep, the company’s Chairman and Managing Director, has resigned from his position as well as from the Board of Directors. The resignation was submitted on June 9, 2025, and is attributed to personal reasons. The effective date of his departure will be disclosed in due course.
The company filed the disclosure with both BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd under Regulation 30(2) of SEBI's Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements. The intimation was signed by P. Hanuman Prasad, the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of Olectra Greentech.
This leadership change comes at a pivotal time for the company, which has been actively contributing to India’s green mobility transformation through its electric buses and charging infrastructure solutions.

The company’s manufacturing facility in Hyderabad is capable of producing several thousand electric buses annually, with scalable operations to meet growing market demand. Olectra also provides end-to-end solutions including fleet management, charging infrastructure, and after-sales support.
On the power side, Olectra continues to be one of the largest producers of composite insulators for transmission and distribution networks. Its insulators are used across high-voltage lines to enhance safety and efficiency in power transmission.
