Lamborghini India sees 10% sales growth, reaches 113 cars in 2024
Italian supercar manufacturer witnesses yet another year of record sales in India.
Lamborghini said its India sales hit a fresh record in 2024. The Italian supercar marque sold 113 units here, a 10 percent increase over its previous best-ever performance of 2023. The APAC region, which includes India, saw 3 percent growth last year, with 2,748 Lamborghinis sold. The global tally was 10,687 units.
The company said much of its success is thanks to its flagship Revuelto hybrid sports car, which has an order portfolio extending until the end of 2026. The Huracan also performed well in its final year of production; its successor, the Temerario, will arrive this year. The Urus SE plug-in hybrid was received positively, too.
Lamborghini is set to hybridise its vehicle line-up fully. The upcoming Temerario will feature a hybrid V8 powertrain, and Lamborghini also plans to launch a fully-fledged EV, dubbed the Lanzador, by the decade’s end.
This growth highlights the continued demand for luxury sports cars in the Indian market, despite the challenges faced by the automotive industry. The Lamborghini lineup in India includes models such as the Urus, Huracán, and Aventador, all of which offer a blend of power, luxury, and advanced features.
Lamborghini India, the Indian arm of the Italian luxury sports car manufacturer, has established itself as a prominent player in the high-end automotive segment since its entry into the market in 2007. The brand, known for its iconic supercars, caters to affluent customers seeking high-performance vehicles with distinctive design and cutting-edge technology.
Lamborghini India operates through a network of authorized dealerships in key cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, where customers can explore the brand’s offerings. The company provides a comprehensive ownership experience that includes personalized services, after-sales support, and exclusive events for its customers. Lamborghini has also focused on enhancing customer engagement through test drives and showcasing its cars at high-profile events like auto expos.
The company’s growth in India is attributed to the rising number of high-net-worth individuals and the growing interest in luxury and performance-oriented vehicles. Additionally, Lamborghini’s commitment to providing high-quality vehicles tailored to the needs of Indian customers has contributed to its success in the region.
