Lamborghini Holds First India Track Programme, Showcases Temerario at Buddh Circuit

Automobili Lamborghini India concluded the inaugural edition of its Esperienza Corsa customer driving programme at the Buddh International Circuit from September 12-14, the company said. It was the first time the event, which gives Lamborghini owners track time with the brand's cars under instructor guidance, has been held in India.

Invited customers drove the Temerario, Lamborghini's second High-Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV), across a series of track sessions covering acceleration, braking and handling. The car combines a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with three electric motors for a combined output of 920 CV, and Lamborghini says its engine is the first in a production super sports car capable of reaching 10,000 rpm.

Alongside the track sessions, participants also took part in a 4x4 driving experience with the Urus SE, the brand's plug-in hybrid SUV, which is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 paired with an electric motor and a 25.9 kWh battery, producing 800 CV and 950 Nm of torque.

Francesco Scardaoni, Region Director of Automobili Lamborghini Asia Pacific, and Nidhi Kaistha, Head of Lamborghini India, both described the event as part of the company's efforts to deepen engagement with its customer base in India.

The event follows Esperienza Terra India, an off-road expedition through Ladakh that Lamborghini ran earlier this year with 18 customers.

Lamborghini, founded in 1963 in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, currently sells three model families — Revuelto, Urus SE and Temerario — through a network of 188 dealers across 57 countries.
