KPIT Technologies Showcased Software-Defined Mobility Solutions at SIAT Expo 2026

KPIT Technologies presented its portfolio of software-defined mobility solutions at SIAT Expo 2026 in Pune. The global mobility technology company demonstrated advancements spanning propulsion systems, software-defined vehicles, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), connected systems, and digital engineering.

The company highlighted several innovations addressing challenges in the automotive sector. Among these was an indigenously designed induction motor technology aimed at reducing dependence on rare earth materials, which KPIT said could enable more sustainable electric vehicle architectures with improved supply chain resilience.

KPIT also presented India-specific ADAS solutions developed in partnership with the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI). These systems were designed to function in local road, traffic, and environmental conditions, with the company noting ongoing work in data-driven ADAS validation using scenario and data foundries.

In the electric and alternate mobility segment, KPIT displayed developments in propulsion software and system engineering, alongside work on hydrogen fuel cell systems. The connected cockpit demonstrations included AI-enabled in-cabin applications such as conversational assistance powered by edge AI and AI-based DIY diagnostics integration.

The company showcased elements of its diagnostics and aftersales solutions, featuring early warning systems, engineering diagnostics automation, over-the-air update management, and AI-supported diagnostic features for users and technicians.

In the software-defined vehicle and electrical/electronic architecture domain, KPIT demonstrated a reference architecture test bench developed with Technica products and software platform validation capabilities. The company also featured middleware integration capabilities with Qorix, focusing on scalable production-ready vehicle software ecosystems.

KPIT operated from Booths 365 and 366 in the Special Technology Pavilion in Zone D. Through its participation, the company shared insights into how software platforms, system engineering, and AI applications are contributing to the development of software-defined mobility solutions.
