KPIT Technologies has acquired a majority stake in N-Dream AG, the Swiss company that developed AirConsole, an in-car gaming platform used by BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche. The transaction increases KPIT's ownership from 26 percent to nearly 90 percent, according to disclosures made to the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
N-Dream will continue to operate as an independent entity within the KPIT Group. Founder Andrin von Rechenberg and CEO Anthony Cliquot will remain in their leadership positions. Tobias Schneider will continue as CFO.
AirConsole entered the automotive market in 2022. The platform allows passengers to use smartphones as controllers to play games on vehicle infotainment screens. The system integrates with car audio and ambient lighting systems.
The platform's library includes licensed properties from Mattel, Inc., such as Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, UNO Car Party, and PAC-MAN Championship Edition. AirConsole has been deployed across BMW, MINI, Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche vehicles.
N-Dream plans to expand beyond gaming into other in-cabin software applications. The company will develop interactive and personalized services for vehicle occupants. KPIT's capabilities across the mobility technology stack will support this expansion across markets.

KPIT Technologies specializes in software-defined vehicle development and has been active in the mobility sector for over 25 years. The company has participated in more than 2,000 vehicle production programs, with KPIT software operating in over 20 million vehicles.

Cliquot stated that customers and partners will continue to receive existing services, with additional offerings planned. The company's team structure and operations will remain unchanged.
The transaction represents one of Switzerland's technology sector developments, with a Zurich-based company now influencing mobility experiences in vehicles worldwide.
